  • Unfortunately, we don’t have long distance phone service here.
  • If you need an iron, ironing board or any extra coffee or towels, or for any assistance, please let the Front Desk know by dialing 0.
  • Due to Covid-19, we are unable to provide a cold continental breakfast. We have partnered with Lumberjacks Restaurant to provide a hot breakfast for $4.50 per person. View the choices at our Breakfast Menu page.
  • Refrigerator is initially on 0 (off), please change the dial to your preference (7 being the coldest). Temperature dial is either next to or under the freezer.
  • Once you are ready to Check-Out of your stay, you can either leave the key in the room or there is a Key Drop next to the Office door and we don’t require a Sign-out Form.

ATMs & Banks

An ATM is located at Flyers just across the street at 1250 S. Main St. Nearby banks include Tri Counties Bank at 255 Main St., Chase Bank at 234 S. Main St. and Savings Bank of Mendocino at 145 S. Main St. All three are a little less than a mile up the road. Please contact the Front Desk for the location of other local banks, as well as nearby ATMs


Breakfast

Hot breakfast at Lumberjacks now available for $4.50 per person. Please ask the Front Desk for details or see the menu here.


Check-In/Check-Out

Check-in time is 3 p.m. Check-out time is 11 a.m. We do not require a signature at Check-out. Once you are ready, you can either leave your key in the room or there is a Key Drop next to the office door. In the event of a late check-out, please make arrangements with the Front Desk in advance.


Complimentary Coffee

Complimentary coffee is available from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.


Copy Service

Black and white copies are available at the Front Desk.


Credit Cards

For your convenience we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit cards.


Emergencies

In case of a police, fire or ambulance emergency, dial 9 + 911.


Fax Service

Fax service is available at the Front Desk. Please inquire at the Front Desk for incoming fax numbers and rates.


Front Desk

You may contact the Front Desk from your room by dialing 0. The Front Desk is open from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.


Housekeeping

Please dial 0 to contact the Housekeeping Department for any housekeeping service needs such as extra towels, linens or blankets.


Ice Machines

Ice machines are located near the Office. Please refer to the Property Layout map at the front of this directory.


In-Room Amenities

For your convenience guest rooms come equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and hair dryer. An iron and ironing board are available upon request.


Internet Access

We are proud to offer complimentary Wi-Fi in all our guest rooms. Please request password information from the Front Desk.


Key Cards

If you lose your key card, please notify the Front Desk immediately. We will gladly provide you with a replacement upon presentation of photo identification. If your ID is locked in your room, hotel staff will assist you in retrieving it.


Lost & Found

Please dial 0 to contact the Front Desk regarding any items you may have lost or found. The Old West Inn is not responsible for lost items.


Mail

Mail may be dropped off at the Front Desk.


Messages

The Front Desk will also notify you if any messages have been left for you.


Newspapers

Complimentary newspapers are available in the Office.


Pets

Pets are not permitted. A $100 deep cleaning fee will be assessed for keeping a pet in your room in violation of this policy.

Rollaway Beds

A limited number of rollaway beds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact the Front Desk to request one. 


Smoking Policy

All of our rooms are smoke-free. Guests who smoke in their room will incur a $100 deep cleaning fee. If you wish to smoke, please visit our outdoor smoking area located at the back of the hotel.

  • Front Desk:  Dial 0. Front Desk is open from 7:30 a.m. until 10 p.m.
  • Housekeeping:  Dial 0.
  • Outside Calls:  Dial 9 + number. We do not offer long distance, however, there is no charge for local or toll-free numbers.
  • Room to Room:  Dial room number.
  • Wake-Up Calls:  Dial 0 for the Front Desk. 

Safety & Security

Traveler Safety

  • Do not admit anyone into your room without first verifying his or her identity. All doors are provided with peep holes. If you are unsure of someone claiming to be a hotel employee, call the Front Desk for verification before allowing entry.
  • Hotel staff members will never call your room and ask for credit card numbers or other sensitive information. Please notify the Front Desk if you receive such a call.
  • Do not leave cash or other valuables in your room or vehicle.
  • Always use all locking devices on the door. Before leaving your room, double check that windows and door are all securely locked.
  • Keep your room key card with you at all times. Do not leave it unattended in your room or elsewhere.
  • Report any suspicious activity that you observe to the management.

Fire Safety

  • If you hear an alarm or smell smoke, act immediately; don’t just investigate.
  • To report a fire, dial 9, wait for a dial tone, then dial 911. Be sure to give your room number. Next, call the Front Desk by dialing 0.
  • Leave your room. Proceed quickly but calmly. Do not panic.
